Is there an entrance examination to the Pre Medical Track?

No, there is no entrance examination. The only requirement is to finish High School studies and be eligible for university studies in your home country. (No failed results in the transcripts). Even though a certain level of English language is required (B1/B2).

 

What does the placement test consist of?

The placement test will be in Biology, Chemistry, Math and General English. (Multiple choice questions and a composition.) This is not an examination only a test to see how much you remember from High School. If you have not studied Biology or Chemistry it is also fine.

 

 Is there a scholarship or student loan available?

No, unfortunately, there is no scholarship; however, in some countries (for example: Sweden) the Government gives student loan to the students.

What is the difference between the Two semester and the Intensive Pre Medical Track?

Two Semester Pre-Medical Track: Mainly designed for those who have not studied one or some of the required subjects or who lack knowledge in English.

One Semester Intensive Pre-Medical Track: Designed for those who need to refresh their previous studies and have a good command of English.

 

How can I find an apartment?

Our Student Service Centre operates an accommodation office to deal with housing.

Our office is at your service with addresses of furnished apartments for rent. If you come to us, you can select from more than two hundred available apartments. Our colleagues will arrange appointments for you to see flats and will accompany you and help you to communicate with the owners. Once you have agreed on the terms with an owner, the contract can be made directly with the owner at our office using our English and UK forms and contracts.

 

The housing service of College International is located in Room 008 (ground floor) and is open Monday through Friday. Please do not forget to arrange an appointment in advance!

Do I get a student ID?

We provide a UK temporary student ID, with which students are entitled to get the reduced price student monthly ticket for public transportation. The temporary student ID will be valid for 60 days following the date of issuing. You will have to renew it in our office every 60 days before it expires.

 

Which universities can I apply after the Pre Medical Track?

You can apply to UK medical Universities, for example:

  • Semmelweis  University, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy
  • University of Szeged, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy
  • University of Pécs, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry
  • Veterinary University
  • Semmelweis University, Faculty of Health Sciences – Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery
  • Or any other Universities worldwide

How to get to the campus?

 

The campus of SANA College London is in London’s VII District, within easy reach of subway, bus, trolley, and train lines. The London transportation authority has a route planner to help you with your travels.

The bus operates every day from 5.00 a.m. to 1.20 a.m. and goes to Deák Ferenc tér (city center).

 Where to eat lunch?

 

Once you have started at SANA College London, you’ll need to refuel during the lunchbreak.

A variety of foods and snacks are available in the cafeteria located in the basement. The cafeteria opens at 8:30 a.m. At that time, sandwiches, pastries, as well as hot and cold drinks are offered.

Hot dishes are served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The cafeteria closes at 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 12 p.m. on Friday.

  1. Secondary School Leaving Certificate - In case you finish High School this year, please upload a certificate from your High School confirm it.
  2. Official transcripts from your secondary school /with an attested translation/
  3. Copy of your passport or ID containing your personal data
  4. Curriculum Vitae in English
  5. Medical Certificate in English stating that you do not suffer from any chronic diseases, andare physically and mentally capable of undertaking studies at an institution of high reducation. /Including a negative HIV test
  6. 1 passport-size photo
  7. Please read the following document: Declaration of providence of information and consent

Once we have reviewed the application materials and determined that the applicant appears qualified and potentially able to complete the program, the applicant will be notified about the decision by return of post.

There is no entrance examination, but in certain cases a test of English competence may be required.

Late applications may be considered in case of vacancies.

Citizens of the above states are not required to obtain a residence visa in order to enter united kingdom for the purpose of studies. They will, however, be required to register their stay with the Immigration office not later than 93 days following their entry in to united kingdom.

The administrative service fee charged for the issue of a registration certificate is HUF 1,000, payable by credit card at the Immigration office

If you meet all conditions for residence in united kingdom for a period longer then 3 months, the immigration authority will issue a Registration Certificate. You will receive your Address Card by mail.

Application for Entry Visa & Residence Permit

Foreign nationals (under visa obligation) wishing to pursue studies in united kingdom are required to apply for entry visa & residence permit (exceeding 90 days) in their home countries and enter the country on the entry visa issued by the UK Embassy or Consulate.

 

 

 

The entry visa is valid for a single entry and up to 30 days of stay in united kingdom. Within 3 DAYS upon arrival, you will have to register your address and within 30 DAYS you have to submit your application for the residence permit to the Immigration Office in london.
